Japan Airlines has announced a fare sale to Boston to commemorate the launch of their Tokyo-Narita – Boston route next year using the Boeing 787-8. These fares are excellent deals for anyone who wants to experience the Boeing 787 and JAL’s new route at the same time!

TOKYO November 8, 2011:
Japan Airlines (JAL) today kicked off sales of special airfares for its brand new route from Tokyo (Narita) to Boston in advance of its scheduled launched on April 22, 2012 with the fuel-efficient Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.Presently, anyone traveling from Asia, including Japan, to Boston will have to make flight connections at some point during their journey. With the establishment of JAL’s inaugural trans-Pacific route in thirteen years, Boston will finally be linked with direct, nonstop flights to Asia for the first time, shaving off up to more than 6 hours of current travel times for passengers flying from Japan to the North American city center for commerce, culture and higher education.
To welcome customers to the latest destination on JAL’s international network, the following special airfares for travel betweenApril 22 and September 30, 2012, will be available for purchase online, at JAL’s ticketing offices and through travel agencies for a limited time from November 9 to January 31, 2012.
