Downtown Annapolis has been converted into a labyrinth of floating docks, concession stands, and large boats. The United States Sailboat Show, now in its 43rd year, kicks off today and will run through Monday, October 8. Here’s what you need to know about events, logistics, and everything in between.
There are always some incredible seminars and events that go on at the United States Sailboat Show.
Here’s a list of boats premiering at the show (check out the complete list here):
- Jeanneau 509
- SeaRail 19
- Zen 24
- Pacific Proa 31
In terms of seminars, there are always some great utility seminars at the show, discussing topics from seamanship to route planning. In the past, Crusing World Magazine has also had a good number of cool seminars featuring professional sailors like Ken Read, however, those are notably absent from the show this year.

Parking is always a problem in Downtown Annapolis, especially during boat show times. Parking is available at the Navy Marine Corps Stadium at 1040 Cedar Park Road in Annapolis, and free shuttle buses will take you downtown. Parking costs $10 per day.
- Pets are prohibited in the show.
- Strollers are strongly discouraged (trust us, you don’t want to bring them)
