So here’s a status page; we’re going down the line as to the current status with every airline operating the 787. We’ll update this as necessary.

United Airlines (USA)

Status: Temporarily grounded, per FAA Airworthiness Directive. Date of service resumption unknown.

Incidents: Suffered first major incident of all Dreamliners, an electrical system malfunction that forced a diversion.

 

Qatar Airways (UAE)

Status: Voluntarily grounded. Date of service resumption unknown.

Incidents: Qatar also detected electrical system malfunction that had previously affected United. The issue was rectified, and 787s returned to service. No other serious incidents reported.

Japan Airlines (JPN)

Status: Voluntarily grounded. Date of service resumption unknown.

Incidents: One major, the (first reported case of) battery meltdown. Other minor incidents require fuel leakages as a result of overfueling (not necessarily 787-specific)

All Nippon Airways (JPN)

Status: Voluntarily grounded. Date of service resumption unknown.

Incidents: Several, ranging from windshield cracking (a minor, semi-normal occurrence) to more major occurrences such as the latest emergency landing after battery meltdown.

LAN Airlines (CHI)

Status: Voluntarily grounded. Date of service resumption unknown.

Incidents: No serious incidents reported.

LOT Airlines (POL)

Status: Voluntarily grounded. Date of service resumption unknown.

Incidents: No serious incidents reported.

Ethiopian Airlines (ETH)

Status: Voluntarily grounded for inspection. Date of service resumption unknown.

Incidents: No serious incidents reported.

Air India (IND)

Status: Grounded at request of Indian aviation authority, per FAA recommendation. Date of service resumption unknown.

Incidents: No serious incidents reported.
