On June 24, 2013, the new Racing Winds Blog will go online.
It’s not just an aesthetic change, or a tweaking of our interface. The Racing Winds Blog will be renamed, relocated, and debut with an entirely new interface and backend framework.
This set of changes represents our continued commitment to bringing fantastic news and features to you, the readers. The revitalization of the blog also reflects a series of personal shifts in the coming months; in August, I will be moving to New York City to study international relations and Spanish at Fordham University. This is a very exciting prospect for me, and will definitely further the opportunities available to the blog.
With this change, the blog is distancing itself from Racing Winds Media, its parent. When I started Racing Winds Media in 2009, this blog was our only project. Today, we are running with a full client list in various different disciplines, and the line between Racing Winds Media and The Racing Winds Blog has become even more blurred. With the rebranding of the blog, we hope to draw that line more distinctly.
It should be an exciting time, and we’re looking forward to having you along for the ride.
